I am so excited to show you one of my all time favorite DIY projects. I have always wanted to make these. I have seen them for years in Crate and Barrel, West Elm, and Urban Outfitters, wood stools like this without exception catch my eye. So after one of our trees had to come out I roped my sweet lumber jack of a husband into chainsawing them into side table height. I prefer the smoother finish logs personally but some like to rougher finish. Eventually I would like to paint some of the stumps, maybe partially, and some fully.
